The Weapon of Praise

Praise can be considered a number of things to different people. I'm focusing on using praise to assault and defend against the schemes of the devil.

The weapon of Praise can be used when Satan is attacking you in many expects of your lives. Spiritually, emotionally, financially, relationships and so on. Even when something negative is going on and it isn't Satan; praise is a good resource because the fact is when something negative is happening, you best believe the devil will try to use it to harm you.

HOW DO I PRAISE?
You focus your mind on the goodness of God and who He is and what He has done. Then you use your mouth. You speak out scriptures from the Bible about who God is and what He has done. There is power in the spoken word. Simply saying "GOD IS GOOD" when you are facing a big problem goes a long way if you believe those words. You must speak the truth but also BELIEVE what you are saying(proclaiming). You can't just speak out scripture and you don't believe the words are true. You may have to repeat the words over and over again until you believe them and they are embedded in your heart. Mark 11:24 Jesus said, "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." You have to BELIEVE.

When you praise God you are acknowledging that He is the positive, great force that has defeated Satan. And you are acknowledging that you have been given God's authority and power to tell heaven and earth who God is and who you are in Christ.(Philemon 1:6- that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.) Praise is a stand against all negativity and evil forces that want to go against you. Praise is not a passive action, it is an aggressive act of faith against Satan. You are declaring you won't allow anything to try to steal your peace and joy in Christ.

PRAISE SCRIPTURES TO SPEAK:
Here are some scriptures that are helpful to fight against Satan. Some of these scriptures may not be the typical Praise scriptures you've seen before.

Ephesians 1:3-Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
PRAISE GOD THAT WE DON'T HAVE TO BEG FOR HIS BLESSINGS, HE ALREADY HAS GIVEN US ALL HIS BLESSINGS, PROMISES, AUTHORITY AND POWER! WE JUST HAVE TO RECEIVE IT BY FAITH!

Joshua 1:9 This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
PRAISE GOD WE DON'T HAVE TO FEAR, BECAUSE HE IS ALWAYS WITH US-ON OUR SIDE!

Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
PRAISE GOD THAT NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR OUR LOVING FATHER!

Romans 8:1-There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
PRAISE GOD THAT SATAN AND NO MAN CAN PUT YOU DOWN AND BRING BACK YOUR PAST SINS OUR SHORT COMINGS!

Psalm 143:10-Teach me to do thy will; For thou art my God: Thy Spirit is good; Lead me in the land of uprightness.
GOD IS GOOD!

Matthew 6:25-34- “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
“So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
PRAISE GOD WE DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING! ALL WEI HAVE TO DO IS PUT GOD FIRST IN OUR LIVES AND ALL OUR NEEDS WILL BE MET.

Philippines 4:19-And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
PRAISE GOD THAT HE MEETS ALL OUR NEEDS!

Psalm 65:11-You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance.
PRAISE GOD THAT WE ARE STILL BLESSED AND CAN RECEIVE AN OVERFLOW OF BLESSINGS DURING "FAMINE" AND DIFFICULT TIMES!

I can go on with more scriptures, but I challenge you to recall and search for scriptures that you can praise God for. And speak out loud praising God with scriptures against Satan and the darkness in this world.
