COMMENTS: Hebrews 11:1 describes faith as(Faith is the substance of things hoped for , the evidence of things not seen). One way I can interpret the scripture is "We can believe by faith that we have what we have spoken." I say that because our spoken words are powerful(Proverbs 18:21-The tongue has the power of life and death,) Jesus tells us to speak to the mountain, believe and it will move(Mark 11:23). He never said pray to God about the problem, The power and faith is in us by our spoken words. God has given us his power and authority(Ephesians 1:18-20, Mark 16:17-18). A great test you can do to prove this is go through the Old Testament and read how people prayed. Then read the New Testament and read how people prayed after Jesus ascended to heaven. The apostles spoke to the problem, sickness, and such to change it. We believers have Jesus' authority, faith and power in us. Use your mouth and believe.
